I have a copper iud and I can't use anything else as I suffer Form a P.E which is a blood clot in my left lung, I've been having really bad pains an just checked my iud an I can see the strings just inside my v****a, I can't get in to see my doctor for a week as his away on holidays is it possible that my body is rejecting the copper iud.

As long as you change your tampons regularly, TSS is extremely unlikely. As for the more solid clots, I agree with other responders that they come out of the womb and accumulate just above your tampon, where they will then fall out into the toilet...
May 27, 2021·Just got my Liletta iud taken out about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I had really little to no bleeding after but now 2 1/2 weeks later and I’m having the heaviest flow I’ve ever had even before I got my iud. It’s consisting of clotting , bleeding through tampons , etc. really strange that my doctor didn’t mention these side effects .
